Opportunities · For community builders and content creators

Live in colivings. Create, connect, belong.

Coliving spaces look for two kinds of people: content creators who spread the word, and community builders who bring the house to life on site. I gather their opportunities in one directory, every one vetted by me.

This is how I started

Colivings are a beautiful place to begin

In 2021 I had no money and no plan, just a one-way ticket to a rural coliving in Spain, where I volunteered on social media. Five years and 15+ colivings later, it's my career.

  • Real experience you can put in your portfolio
  • A network of people who open the next door for you

Two doors

Which one is yours?

Want to work in the coliving world, not just live in it as a coliver? Colivings usually look for two kinds of people to support them: community builders who bring the house to life on site, and content creators who show the world what living there feels like.

For community builders

Bring a coliving to life

Community builders are the heart of a coliving. You welcome new residents, host dinners and hikes, and make strangers feel at home. Most roles are volunteer exchanges: around 15 to 25 hours a week in return for free accommodation and a community.

  • Welcome residents and be their go-to person
  • Host community events, from dinners to hikes
  • Stay a few weeks or a whole season
For content creators

Stay for free, create content

Colivings want people who can show the world what living there really feels like. Some offer creator stays and residencies: you stay for free and, in return, create content about the place, often alongside other creators.

  • Join creator residencies with other creators
  • Grow your portfolio and your network

How it works

Inside the community: the opportunities directory

Looking for your next creative destination? Somewhere to bring people together, create content, or simply roll up your sleeves and help? Once you join, you unlock a private directory of coliving opportunities, submitted by coliving operators and vetted by me. Every listing tells you what the role involves, what you get in return, and comes with my personal note on the place.

The opportunities are diverse and ongoing: hosting and community building, content creation, and hands-on help like housekeeping, gardening or building. Most are volunteer exchanges, and new ones are added as colivings submit them. I can’t promise a place, but I’ll make sure you know where to look.
